We are proud to have our fieldwork highlighted in the Water Journal cover!
As part of Issue 1, the paper entitled “Seasonal and Size-related Fish Microhabitat Use Upstream and Downstream from Small Hydropower Plants” was published in Water Journal this January covering the seasonal (early and late summer) and size-related (juveniles and adults) microhabitat use by native fish, including the Northern straight mouth nase and Northern Iberian chub, above and below small hydropower plants. The editors have chosen one picture from José Maria Santos and Francisco Godinho in action at Avelames River, downstream Bragado Hydropower Plant for the January Issue cover.
